I haven't been following it much - but my impression is that the earnings are largely from sale of companies and not operating earnings. Maybe that doesn't matter - that a lot of the earnings are generated from ponzi selling of net start-ups to other nets and investors. I'd say it will rise and be mildly positive for the sector but that it won't cause a lasting rally. I think there is more downside to the market before it gets back on tract.
