RED or ED - Do you guys remember the article we linked on the DML thread well over a year ago - I am sure ED remembers - Some Gold analyst in NY did a study and published a possition that he felt that the short position on Gold was understated to a very large degree. I think he went so far as to say that he felt that the entire gold short position may actually have been larger than the entire reserves of the shiny stuff. In other words a sqqueeze could be much larger than ever expected. On the UTX.A thread Dan TY posted that an Ustralion outfit was cloiung their books on a $40MM Gold hedge book - I know $40MM is a piss in the pot but is it the tip of the iceberg. I am of the belief that the moons are tunring for me on many fronts and Gold is one of those.
