This White House serves up a scandal a week, no chasing required. Oh, absolutely, but that's been the case all along, and it's only recently that the buffet has gotten the attention it has always deserved. In the past politicians have always been too worried about their own venalities to go around pointing out those of other politicians. The Republicans violated that tradition, and I can cheerfully predict that it will bounce back in their faces. I will vote for them, but not because I think they will be any better. I just think it's time for a change. The tabloids will be as busy as ever.
