Don't blame you. The only long position that I have in my trading account is NEM (edit: oh yeah, some CS calls too). I have puts on a couple of nutz (ebay, dclk, pcln) and some banking stocks and the SPX. Not a time to be entering long positions in risky stocks.

I have nominal support on MPPP at the breakout of $36. MPPP did give a good P&F buy signal when it broke through a quad top at $36, but this was after giving a couple of sell signals. I don't see MPPP moving above $47 in the short term, regardless of news (based on technicals).

As you know, my issue is not that anyone would short MPPP, it is the use of hyperbole and then scare tactics for those holding MPPP long.
