<I hear IBM will announce a 750 MHz Athlon system.> Are you sure it is not Athlon Ultra or Athlon Pro? The rumor that I thought was picking up steam today was the Mot deal. Apparently a foundry deal is being looked at but a lot of other possibilities are apparently emerging (including the originally reported equity deal). Looks more real now.
