Robert, Do you subscribe to securitytrader.com? Their XAU chart is sure a whiz banger, current resistance 87 1/8 from 10/98 and 93 1/4 from 4/98. XAU is also showing a massive inverse H&S with a neckline we penetrated today. I show a measurement of 115-120 off of his weekly XAU chart. He has not made a measurement or target yet, and we might differ on the actual target level. Judging from all this there is a possibility of it being a BIG run. No warranty on that, but if I trade at all, and if I do it certainly will not be my whole position, I will trade with that in mind. I did some rough $$ estimates on the $'s flowing into some of the blue caps like NEM. This ain't just goldbugs buying NEM ABX PDG, not 10-25k at a crack at $25 and higher for NEM!! Serious money is climbing on the bandwagon! BTW, my "amateur" buy on the open allowed me to increase my position quite a bit and keep my basis well down into the low 6 area, I was filled on the open at 7 1/4. Remember Justin Mamis? He used to argue that on a big move day you did better buying at the market on the open. Occasionally that works better than hoping for a gap retrace. as it did today with AEM. It was down to 7 3/16th for such a short time I doubt I could of had it with a limit order. I went from 100% oil 10%gold (10%margin) to 60-50 gold and oil since the 21st and most of the changeover done that morning and the 22nd. Pretty darn happy about it too. Best Regards Roebear
