ExCane, "find a sell? ... Also discussion on technical exit strategies"

Yes, those would be great discussions. Seems that a universal struggle among traders is themselves. Even if they have a plan and a great system. Pulling the trigger can be freeze out.

One way I try to help myself obey the rules is to WRITE them down prior to a trade. Exit and stop loss included. Then when it becomes reality it is right there in front of you in black and white.

Oh, but then you start playing those rational games... well look at this indicator over here, it's not so bad...>g<

exit the beast!

Hello Alex,

I have always thought that the money is made on the sell and not on the buy.... One way to do it is to use the same Indicator or system to get out as you used to get in.. Example, if you use a 5 ema crossing above a 13 ema to get in then you would use a 13 ema crossing above a 5 ema to get out... Same is true for a MACD or Parabolic SAR. Just reverse the buy signal and use it for an exit...
