I can't tell the future, and the following is just my opinion based on the landscape as I see it, but I see no reason for this at this time, despite the i820 delay.

Intel had already decided before the i820 delay that the market would probably not support a high volume i820 build.

There are other boards that Coppermine can plug into. Granted the MB situation is really muddy right now with Taiwan, BX chipset shortage, etc.

2 vendors have already announced they are using VIA's Apollo chipset. Not great news for Intel's chipset business, but PIII's are what plug into these things.

That includes Coppermine.

Also, I don't think we even know yet if i820 will or will not be ready by the time of the Coppermine launch.
