Everyone who reported on the demonstration did a great job and reflected what I recall. There's one point that I don't remember reading so pardon me if this was stated previously.

I believe it was Rick who talked about partnering with the leaders of identified fields. Microvision represents the "display" of a given system and they want to be a partner with the top companies in their respective fields. So far this only seems obvious.

What wasn't obvious, at least to me, was when Rick talked about the negotiations and what MVIS isn't willing to give up to secure partnerships. His example, using the medical field, was with a company known for its expertise in spinal surgery. The company wants it all; to have exclusive rights for broader applications (ie. orthopedic surgery). Rick stated MVIS wasn't willing to give broad-based exclusive rights and their stance is to adhere to each company's niche.

I, for one, agree with this strategy and though it may have an impact short term I think in the long run we'll be better off for it. Seems to me it would also make any attempted buy-out that much more expensive.

Dwight, as I age, I sometimes forget my previous pearls of wisdom...Sorry. Yes, as J.R. Halderman would have said "that statement is no longer operative"
Perhaps I better understand the thin line that Rick has to walk to implement the plan.
