<any chance for a quick Camino fix>....I don't think Intel will say anything at all, not a word, until they have whatever it is nailed to the wall six ways from Sunday.

They can't afford anymore credibility loss. So, silence is the plan. Still frustrates me to death.

Hey, Mile...still got that Qualcom?

As you and I has commented about in the past. Those Analysts won't be jumping back onboard the Bus in any quick hurry. You know they all have been on the phone with their Intel and Rambus contacts trying to figure out the best way to cover their ass. I assume Rambus and Intel couldn't talk them out of lowering their outlooks for Rambus so I can assume it doesn't look like an answer is close at hand. But the strange thing is Intel seem to have a relief rally, maybe implying many or most would prefer that Intel got that Rambus chain off from around it's neck??? I know, I am not the only one who noticed Intel rallied strongly today with all of the negative news... NOT GOOD!

Milehigh - Re Edelstone briefing

Issues centered on the way some motherboards are configured.

Launch of 820 delayed

Possible launch of new chipset estimated from Oct to 1st Q

Delay reduced earning estimates. Noted in prior posts - .80 to .60 1.20 to .80. Earnings should then triple in 2001

Believes long term earning power will likely remain unchanged

Target price lowered $150 to $110 due to uncertainty in ramp up.
