Dan3 - Re: ". Intel has sunk between 1 and 2 billion dollars into developing rambus, "

I don't know where you made up that number, but it is a LOT LESS than a Billion Dollars !

The BULK of that development was a $500,000,000 investment in Micron Technology.

Although it didn't help Rambus at all, that investment is now worth about $1.3 Billion !!!!

So, even the current Rambus/Camino debacle has Intel making a PROFIT of nearly $800,000,000.

Real Winners find a way to win - even when things go badly !

Dan:

re >> what would this stock do if it had good news? Go Down?<<

Good things come to those that wait. AMD hasn't made money since I can't remember when. Athlon is their last gasp. My bet is they go the way of national semi. If that happens where do you think Intc will be?
