Creditability

As Richard said Millions have been spent by others setting up to build ram to be used in Intel based PC. If Rambus doesn't happen.. Creditability is lost and creditability is key, just ask Intel about their Pentium error a few years back.

Explain how a RMBS delay will hurt INTC? It kills RMBS, but the beat goes on for the Mothership as they have PC100 and PC 133 in waiting as an interim solution, which means no lost sales to INTC. Make sense? Does to me.

Nope, Intel has no backup for Camino. They have the 810E, but that's only for the extreme low end.

The venerable BX chipset lacks 133Mhz FSB support, lacks AGP 4X support, and (less important) lacks ATA66 support.

If Camino is not ready for the Coppermine launch, Intel WILL take a hit.
