You are of course much closer to the political process than I am. But when I listen to politicians speak, or read why they write, my gut feeling, which I trust, is that these are people whose strings are being pulled. I have to wonder who is doing the pulling, and to whom, if anyone, they are accountable.

More impressions than convictions. But I trust none of them. Not one.

As a general thing, though, if you look at the last 6 administrations, 3 for each party, do you really feel feel that any of them represented the highest quality of leadership the country has to offer?
