As long as Steve Young doesn't get hurt they are in the playoffs...

Steve Young suffers another concussion

Tempe, AZ (TSN) - San Francisco starting quarterback Steve Young suffered yet another concussion in Monday's
24-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals at Sun Devil Stadium.

Young, who went 13-of-23 for 92 yards and one touchdown in the win, was forced to leave the game after one half of
action with what was described as a mild concussion.

Young, who has repeatedly taken punishment this season behind a very suspect offensive line, was sandwiched by
Arizona's J.J. McCleskey and Aeneas Williams and lay motionless for a couple of minutes following the hit. He
eventually got to his feet and walked under his own power to the sideline.

Former Canadian Football League star Jeff Garcia replaced Young and went 5-of-6 for 30 yards in one half of play.

Before he exited the contest, Young did find Jerry Rice for a 13-yard touchdown on a beautifully executed slant pattern.
It was the 85th time that the two have connected on a scoring pass.
