NP says RIM shareholders get back on board

Research in Motion Ltd RIM
Shares issued 62,165,317 Sep 27 close $45.60
Tue 28 Sept 99 In the News
The National Post reports in its Tuesday edition that shareholders of
Research In Motion Ltd. jumped back on board yesterday, putting an end to a
two-week 28-per-cent sell-off. The selling pressure was caused by calls
from certain quarters of stock overvaluation coupled with the temporary
halt of shipments to its largest customer, BellSouth Corp., in the current
quarter. Analyst Howard Lis at Griffiths McBurney & Partners said the stock
had been "grossly oversold."
