Ouch, up $11.38, every investment in my gold portfolio has just gone green - everything......what do I do......panic and sell....LOL

Depends on which positions you added to. Some gold stocks are just starting to break even for the year.

Take a look at Battle Mountain, which was $6 a year ago, started 1999 at $4, dropped to $1.75 and is now just getting back to $4.

Cambior went from 6-to-2-to-4
TVX Gold went from 3.00 to 0.75 to 1.75

It's great if you bought these over the last three or four months, but otherwise it doesn't look as good.

Well, I'll tell you this, Rarebird, I'm damn glad I bought into the physical mining property game while POG was in the sub-sewer! So, I'll take your congrats, and raise you two Congrats! You're not so bad off either. I seem to recall reading somewhere that you had played the "physical acquisition game" your own way. Aren't you glad?<VVBG>
