Hi!!!
RE: What I would like to know is this: where in the world are you getting those tea leaves you keep reading from???????

I guess this is old.. I have taught and coached for 28 years in this small community in upstate NY...I've known neighbors, students, former students, grandparents...relatives of IBM for all these years...You get the idea right? Well, I own DELL...My wife's STS license plate says: BUY DELL...I have had some media exposure over the years with our wrestling teams...and also from the DELL thing...I literally run into folks at athletic events, parent's night, malls, stores, etc...and get "punched" with information...Gaining some of these "ideas" has prompted some crazy dreamin'...Basically, it started me attempting to think like an IBM board member and of course you know who I am trying to stay a few light years behind on the other end :o) So, I put these dreams together and add some easily accepted means of killing CPQ and all the others...Reading what Michael has said and what others have predicted ("we can't keep losing money like this Kemble") well, it's not rocket science...really...I have called it a no brainer for a long time...
One way I start this dreaming...and, I find it fun...I know Michael wants the best for the future of the technology world...So, I attempt to think how can he do it quickly...

Best, Kemble
