Shooting up like a rocket ... total.net it should help all gold stocks.

I'll give them a call today, any positive announcements from PFG in this market should deliver a good increase.

Dave and all,
I spoke to Catherine McLeod-Seltzer today regarding the San Francisco, Diablillos and Luicho properties. Most of our conversation centered around Luicho but I received brief updates on the other two properties.

Cash on Hand: $4.8 million

San Francisco:

The team is meeting today to go over strategy. San Fran is showing decent values (0.5 grams +) over good lengths. This has been enough to capture the interest of other companies who might like to joint venture but the current plan is to continue with mineralogical studies and to create a 3 dimensional map of the area. CMS stressed that this property is on the back burner for drilling while Luicho becomes priority 1. I look for no news on this property for the next 6 + months.

Diablillos:

Barrick has completed its drilling but CMS says her best guess is that we will receive news regarding drill results some time in the next month (knowing Barrick it could be later than that). She did say, there is a rumour in Argentina that Barrick are planning more work on the property. She knew nothing of the twinning results.

Luicho:

CMS appeared to be genuinely excited about Luicho and in turn about the increase in the POG and how it might relate to Luicho, if there is a big find.

At least 4 analysts have put forth recommendations for PFG since the Luicho property announcemet (The Hardrock Analyst, Haywood, Cannacord and Global (Rick Rules company). CMS tells me there is an endorsement at the Rick Rule site gril.net but I've looked and presume you must be a paid subscriber to get at the info.. I believe he is suggesting an 8 million oz potential based upon sampling results from some of the bidders. Other analysts have looked at initial results as Rule has and rumours abound about anywhere from 2-20 million ounces on the property.

CMS tells me 8-10 majors have been at the property and have done sampling. At least 6 majors were involved in bidding on the property, none of which she would name.

We discussed the size of the property (1.2 km x 300 m x 200 m) . She mentioned the old workings give a clue as to the third dimension of the property and seem to display a consistent 2.6 grams from sampling taken from top to bottom.

It should be 4-8 weeks before the next news release follows regarding the property. A team of geologists is now concentrating on expanding and confirming the anomaly by surface sampling, trenching and pitting.

At the same time, a 10 km road must be built, the last 5 of which must be drilled and blasted. She estimated the first drill holes will not start turning until March of next year upon the completion of the road and footprint? so we've got some waiting to do.

Barb Henderson is currently on holidays and will update the Luicho property description at pacrim-mining.com upon her return.
