Brightpoint Establishes New Operations in China INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1999--Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL - news) announced today that it has commenced its new operations in China through the formation of a partnership, Sunrise International Limited. Brightpoint is the managing partner and owns substantially all of the interests therein. Mr. Eric Leung, formerly Executive Director of Brightpoint China Limited, has been named Managing Director of Brightpoint China Limited and Sunrise International Limited. The partnership has formed an enterprise which will seek to source wireless products and accessories and distribute them to various customers.
