What's incredible about this report is that this means the CDMA upgrade market has already become HUGE.....If all of the numbers are correct (I have no reason to believe that they aren't). CDG shows that North America added 1.8m new CDMA subs during the second quarter. The total number of CDMA handsets sold was around 4.8m.

Am I missing something or does 3m CDMA subs upgrading their handsets (off a base of 8.8m) seem almost impossibly huge? If this is the case, you can probably start upping the number of chipsets Qualcomm will sell next year....
