Argue with them...I agree that the distinction between social conservatives and conservatives broadly construed has been exaggerated, but one knows the people whom I am referring to, so it does have utility: Pat Robertson, Gary Bauer, Paul Weyrich, James Dobson, etc. One knows that I am not referring to Dubya, or the Doles, or Newt. Of course, some politicians one might be unsure about, like Henry Hyde or Orrin Hatch, but they represent the "blur".....
