Greg, Mostly longer term but AOL is too attractive a trader to pass up. Positioned @ 88.125 and out @ 102. I closed long term position @ 135 awhile back and have been short term since. cdaisey@shoulda-held.com

for being a "motorcycle riding beer guzzler" Greg you certainly have a knack for timing the right stocks. who are you really? what programs are you running? either (a) you're one of the savviest beer guzzlers I've known, (b) you have an excellent program or (c) you get excellent info from the side. tell us how you're doing this. you just follow the trends, or do you have something more complex you're into? we bought AOL at $82 this time around again; but it wasn't because our program was saying "buy" (although it was oversold), it's because we knew membership growth wasn't as weak as many were saying it was. the broadband issue was overblown, among other things. broadband wireless internet connects is driving the overseas market - not cable, t1s, modems - AOL seems to be in the thick of this getting agreements. even the current wireless internet connects (using mobile phone gizmos to bypass local loop connect charges which are spendy) in Europe are considerably less expensive than direct dial. AOL is picking up some members in this manner. what do you do, take such information and somehow hone in out where things are going through some sixth sense? are you an engineer in your previous life? what is this. I'm asking sincerely. Would appreciate your comments.
