Challo,

The previous lows, which occured last FRIDAY was 10187, and the DOW is already close to it, about 30 points away.

Its important that it holds. If not then my short-term TECHNICAL DELAY DIP would imply alot more negativity down the road.

Richard,
I wonder if this had anything to do with the announcement by the G-7 and company:

Panel Of U.S. Economists Urges Fed To Raise Rates

dailynews.netscape.com.

Thoughts anyone?

Here's how I see it, I REALLY liked that pullback to 278 range today, without that I'd
be nervous on the overnight. The shorts had to make a stand. When they did and POG
busted back up through resistance at 282-283 the second time, that was very
significant. The shorts are now in trouble and they know it and there is not a whole
bunch of resistance between here and 300 area. At least not as much as we busted
through already.

Any opinions welcome, like I tell the wife, I'm never wrong, I just may not always be
right

Alex,
There you have it, I was just looking for it on my charts. Having a hard time finding the
old ones, they are buried somewhere under the oil charts VBG:

"Brad Lambert, analyst at the independent technical research firm Trend Analysis, said
he expected the market to find support at $275 a troy ounce, the bottom of a 1998
trading range that stretched up to around $315."

IMHO
If all things remain the same, no market crashes etc., then I would look at the 315 figure
as an initial upside target possible this year.
Course I really didn't find all those charts yet.

Comments?

Roebear .
