ZONA

B--

Did you hear the one about the dead cat that ate up my year's profits?
Punchline: I hate it's fu(#ing guts.
As of yesterday, I held three pig-cats: AAM, PETM, ZONA. The only good news is that I sold AAM and don't have to hate myself about it.
The good news about PETM and, yes, ZONA, is that they're both threatening strong signal days: PETM's got the new low and a healthy shot at volume. ZONA's got the volume almost locked up already (though I suppose it's time for its daily bath in the fu(#ing headlights), and it's tied the low. Sometimes you gotta settle for a tie.
At other times, you just act like a real person and take a small loss and move on. There was a good five minutes this morning to get out at 3/16, and that was Volume+1. The only problem with Volume+1, of course, is that you don't know if V-Day is really V-Day until V+1, circa 4 pm. Right now, all I can hope for is another signal.

Ivan

ZONA

B-

Yup, just like I feared: Deer in the Headlights. Bounces off the low of $3(!!!!) bid's up to 3 1/16 (!!!!) and ...
One thousand shares have moved in the last 27 minutes.
This used to be like watching paint dry.
Now it's like peeling pieces of lead paint off the wall and force-feeding them to a newborn.
Hope that's the ZONA joke you were looking for.

PETM

Wow,
this is really turning into some kinda signal day for PETM.Now the time to throw some more money at it.
Oh, darn it, that's right. I've already got my money in losing cats.

ZONA/PETM

B--

Forgive the hysterical number of posts. Large losses have a way of bringing out the extrovert in me.
Went in a puddle of tears to my broker downstairs and he let me look in on Level 3 for PETM. DLJ (Donaldson LetskillIvan, and Generouswithmymoney) has been selling off enormico blocks of PETM for three days now. I don't believe it's a position of their own (brokerages usually clear through other specialized houses), so the chances are good that one of the larger institutional holders are getting out. This sweet, sweet little pussycat (honey/vinegar/flies) has a float of only 98.5m; DLJ's client has already dumped over 700K today, and my broker, whose attention to the stock was piqued by my panicked phone calls, says DLJ sold a similar amount the previous two days.
I think this is good news: A) It's not someone naked-shorting up in Canada with a vowel at the end of his name; and B) I doubt that the 25-year-old counterfeit-Cohiba-smoking Wharton snot-nosed little poof of a fund manager that's panicking on the PETM trigger button bought more than 2 percent of this company, no matter how many pet poodles he engages in sexual acts with on a nightly basis. I.e., once he gets through selling and goes off to crash his twin-engine turbo-prob plane into some Massachusetts coastal bluff, this stock will be free to rise to its true level of, say, about $5 or $6 dollars. Then I, rather than he, will be rich, and will go up the coast and have my very, very dominating way with that man's widow.
ZONA's put in the low, the volume, and if can just get its little FU(#ING FACE OUT OF THE HEADLIGHTS and move more than two ticks off the low, today will be a nice little signal, and I'll be able to keep my losses in this salamander to triple digits.

ZONA/PETM

ZONA's still gotta get her little heiny off the low (1/32 above just ain't gonna cut it, sweetmeat).
PETM's an official cat-signal, and a screaming buy, recommended by a man who's been screaming quite a bit these days. I was hoping it would top 4.2 million in volume (beating out 10 days' ago; as is, today will be a new low on volume higher than any of the last nine days. Whether it will be significantly higher will be told by this last hour. I'm almost hoping not, as the only major contributor to volume has been that yammering little Park Avenue pantywaist: "Oh, no, it's falling below $4! Oh, no, what am I going to do? Daddy! Mommy! Fido! Fifi!"
Is anyone following this idiot thread besides me and this poor Bdog losing his fleece on my advice out in Grungeland?
Like the comedian said: I know you're out there. I can hear you purrin'.
