Maybe we're near a short-term bottom (gg)....

from Briefing.com: 12:46 ET Dow Forecast : Prudential's Technical Analyst, Ralph Acampora is considering reducing his 1999 Dow forecast of around 12,000 though he is still bullish, he sees downside numbers of 8900-7200 on the DJIA.

I'm not shorting much of anything here, not enough downside potential. Last night I came across WON; it looked like it broke its uptrend yesterday, and I considered it, but didn't pull the trigger. AND I'm sure not going to short the "redhots" as I really don't understand most of them from an FA standpoint. I have a lousy record of trying to short over-valued stocks so I just watch.

I did buy some NTOP this morning, lets see how it goes. Lookit EXTR! Only thing keeping my portfolio up!
