XDOGS.COM Announces Appointment of Henry Barber as a Sales, Marketing and Internet Consultant
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1999--XDOGS.COM (OTC BB:SNOW - news) announced the appointment of Henry Barber as a Consultant for sales, marketing and internet image development.

''Henry Barber brings valuable experience to the XDOGS management team, with over 23 years experience at Patagonia, a leading US outdoor apparel company,'' said XDOGS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Kent Rodriguez. ''Henry's involvement with XDOGS reaffirms our analysis of the significant opportunities for growth that exist within our business model,'' added Rodriguez.

In the very early days of Patagonia, Mr. Barber tested products and pioneered major sales territories for the company. He subsequently became an executive of Patagonia, serving as Director of North American Wholesale Sales. Mr. Barber also developed sales support programs for Patagonia in Japan and Europe.

In addition to his 23-year career with Patagonia, Mr. Barber was responsible for the successful launch of Asolo Boots in the North American marketplace. He is also a world renowned rock climber and acclaimed lecturer. Henry has climbed in over 25 countries throughout the world; with many ''on-sight'' solo first ascents.

''XDOGS has a vision for success that I find very compelling,'' said Mr. Barber. ''Their strong commitment to quality distribution combined with the e-commerce business model are unique in the industry,'' added Barber. ''The opportunity to work with XDOGS in introducing Berghaus Ltd, the leading manufacturer and market leader in Western Europe of outdoor and active sports apparel, equipment and accessories, into the North American market place is very exciting. I look forward to assisting XDOGS and Berghaus in building the leading worldwide outdoor brand,'' added Barber.

XDOGS.COM is an emerging consolidator in the highly fragmented outdoor sports industry with an emphasis on e-commerce applications.

These guys are moving fast now. Another news release. Quite a team is being assembled here. Long-term, these guys will eat FOGDOG.COMs lunch because they have a better, broader business model that includes both retail and wholesale distribution and higher gross profit margins. Check the stock price. You'll never see a bargain like this again. It won't stay here long. I'll be buying more.

XDOGS.COM Announces Appointment of John Middendorf as Director of Design
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1999--XDOGS.COM (OTCBB: SNOW - news) announces the appointment of John Middendorf as Director of Design.

''John Middendorf brings invaluable entrepreneurial and product design experience to the XDOGS management team,'' said XDOGS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Kent Rodriguez. ''His knowledge and design experience will help adapt the Berghaus product line to the North American marketplace,'' added Rodriguez.

John founded A-5, a company that designs and manufactures state of the art port-a-ledges, haul bags, and other high performance rock climbing equipment, in 1986. He sold A-5 to The North Face (NASDAQ: NMS: TNFI) in 1997. ''I founded A-5 to provide more durability and functionality to haul bags, after I determined that the existing product offerings were not durable enough to withstand the constant wear encountered during extended climbs,'' said Middendorf.

In addition to founding A-5, Mr. Middendorf is widely regarded as the best big-wall aid climber in the world today. John has numerous first ascents, and has been subject of many feature stories in climbing and outdoor magazines.

''The XDOGS vision of ''Life Without Limits''(TM), their exclusive distribution of best of class outdoor products, combined with their e-commerce business model is unique in the industry,'' said Middendorf. ''XDOGS is importing some of the best outdoor and active sports apparel, equipment and accessories in the world. No other e-commerce company has a product offering to match XDOGS,'' added Middendorf.

XDOGS.COM is the exclusive North American e-commerce distributor and portal for several lines of high-quality outdoor equipment, apparel and accessories. The company is also developing a community based internet destination for active, outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts.
