Rande Is and all...

In the past few months, I have maintained a moderately aggressive portfolio, due to some previous mistakes in high risk ventures. Today, I sleep well at night even when my port goes down for the day.

I would like to offer some of my thoughts on online brokerages. SSB today initiates coverages on AMTD with a price target of $19 and EGRP at (I think) $26.

This comes one week after EGRP is the 4th largest holding in the new internet index HHH, and AMTD is also one of the holdings of HHH.

Further, EGRP's 52 week high is $72.25 and is trading at $22.25, which is less than 30% of the 52 week high.

Also, AMTD's 52 week high is 62.75 and is trading at 17 11/16, which is also less than 30% of the 52 week high.

It is amazing that today's public looks at these brokerages who make ratings to base their investment decisions. If so, they will lose out on the real money to be made NOW in the brokerage sector.

Just my opinion on the current situation in the online brokerage sector. A contrarian opinion (according to the GP).

Any comments???
