William Remember back in Aug when I said that there were very Large buys on gold and to me that was the big boys buying and if you look @ the gold charts you will see that the main run lasted in to Oct and May or April..The main run is coming now... GOLD is above $300.....Gold dropped when the market turn around in Oct and Spring..This market stinks and I don't see any changes for a while (wash and rinse)...Y2K count down,,,what a stupid count down for the market... It just keeps it on the minds of investors..Are you going to invest long term now,,, No, I'll wait for Jan and so will a lot of investors...Will it crash or not who the hell knows...but it don't matter because the FEAR is there.....Big boys upgrading GOLD....HUMMMM what does that mean....It over...Hell No,,,,I agree that the small ones could make big gains now.......How does the contracts for gold look in DEC....You know more about that then us.....What do you think? Again these are my thoughts... Banchee

William, Today I got a peak at the new EUPH console. It is really serious stuff. I had no idea they were going to come up with something so hot as this. Now I have seen the current world class recording console, called the Oxford by Sony. . .but this board appears to be real competition and better specifications. So now Euphonix has the perfect combination of console and recorder. . .all 24-bit / 96Khz . . and large format. Not sure about price on console, but it looks like it will probably be in the 200 to 300K range. . .and will appeal to all the best studios. . . it is VERY well designed, using the highest technology. . .very impressive. The man responsible for sales and marketing for the reigning king of high-end recording consoles [Solid State Logic], has been hired by Euphonix. In seven years at SSL, he increased U.S. sales by a factor of 10. . . so he already has the contacts necessary and the "right stuff" to make Euphonix a first choice product. Here is link: biz.yahoo.com This one will certainly take some time to develop. . .each console is probably hand made and takes weeks. . . .but it would not surprise me if they take orders for a hundred of the consoles before the end of the year. . . not to mention the R-1 24 track digital 24/96 recorders. If a company in this biz were to bet the farm on a few products, I would think these would be it. But there is one other company that should start turning around that has released an earth shattering product, too. . . and they are near their 52 wk low. . . I need to first check to see if this news has been released yet. . . it does not appear to be in Yahoo or other news services. . .but it is out in trade magazines. . .and was seen at the Audio Engineering Society convention in New York. . which probably ended yesterday. . . .so I would expect a formal announcement from the company, perhaps even tomorrow. . . . Will advise, after I am sure info is released properly. I am actually preparing to sell some of my equipment to get some of this new stuff. . . I can't stand being more than 6 months behind the state of the art. Rande Is
