Robert, i was a wild bull in the early eighties and again shortly before the beginning of the gulf war. had i posted back then, my posts would have had a clearly discernible bullish slant. the reasons why many here are overall bearishly inclined is that this market is one of the most overvalued in history (even though Abby seems to disagree with that<g>, in historic terms it is an irrefutable fact) and has shown signs of technical deterioration throughout this year that are very difficult to ignore. give me a truly undervalued market and i will be a raving bull once again.

regards,

hb

Robert Rose, this thread is full of technical analysts who believe the charts tell the story, not the general sentiment of the day, thats why this thread is predominintly bearish - the charts say we are overbought on a major trend basis and everybody has been way to bullish, i will remind you that not only the ipo that are RUSHING to get in on the euphoria will largely be disapointed but also the shareholders RUSHING to buy shares of these paper tigers will end up being panned out. If you followed my posts over the last several months i've put up some decent charts and market turns lately, although i have been wrong many times like everybody that tries to time the market, this is a foolish time imo to be hanging on to some Dreams of unlimited profits from internet mania.

of course time will tell.
