Nobody ever said greed didn't run business....but it is certainly hard to argue with the results greed has had in creating a better lifestyle for all of us...wouldn't it? As a result, you should review again how corporations are changing. Again, web corps are learning that while GREED drives them, their VALUE is derived through trust. Trust between themselves and their partners, and them and their clients. Purely raking people over the coals to accomplish your goals of revenue maximization was a thing of the past. The new economic order won't survive with thought processes like that. That is the basis of the new web economy...which is purely Libertarian. If you think these concepts are so crazy, you should review other "crazy" Libertarian ideas that, when implemented...have worked so effectively that most of their ardent detractors now support them. I'll toss out pollution credits, and the markets surrounding them as one example. In every situation they've been used, overall pollution levels have declined. Sometimes, crazy ideas are crazy only because they haven't been tried. Sometimes, they seem crazy because the "headline creators" want them to seem crazy. If you review the history of growth, you'll recognize the difference between trends and fads. Fads cause blips on the growth chart, and everyone is convinced it's "the new thing"... and decries the trend-saying it's been replaced. Of course, in the end, the fad is seen as the crazy thought...now merely a blip. The current trend...and most people wise enough to perceive it...is the one toward individual empowerment. A purely Libertarian concept.
