Robert Rose: Nevertheless, I remain a LT bull. I just do not see many folks expousing that point of view on this thread, now or ever.

Surely you understand, folks should be true to their individual outlook. If your analysis or views differs from someone that post on this thread, it is up to you and others that share your view to contribute counter points.

Personally, I have been both bullish and bearish on this thread. I have made a few bullish calls when most on this thread were looking for more downside, because that is what my analysis said to me. From a longer perspective, this Market needs some exuberance rung out of it, before it can move forward on stronger legs.

I must be true to my analysis and so should you be to yours. However, we must all keep open minds and listen to opposing views, as that is how we parry mistakes.

Regards,
LG

Robert Rose, I will turn long term bullish on the equity markets when we see the death of equities cover or crash of 99 on business week, or when the chart hits the bottom trendline of LG's OMC, for now even though the short term sentiment is bearish, i think that there has been too much public euphoria and bullishness for too long and people will be fooled at the market as it wiggles itself down, even as i bring out Dr. Evil or Hannibal -g-

Robert,
Although I agree that there is a lot of potential for the internet, that does not necessarily mean that internet stocks will do well. Don't forget the lessons taught by stocks such as IOM. It ran up to nosebleed levels based on great potential for the Zip drive. Now that it's fulfilling its potential, it's having trouble making a profit, and the stock just keeps going down. Why will the internet stocks be different than this?

The one thing that makes me the most bearish is the graph someone posted of the P/E ratio of the NASDAQ, showing that it is now > 150. How can Abby Cohen say the market is undervalued with that kind of P/E?
