Gregor,

I don't doubt that growing up lightens the load. Long distance runners have three paradoxes to choose from when fatigue forces them to push ahead or quit. Speed up, lift your head up or lighten up (run quieter). Sometimes we have to do things we're conditioned to avoid.

When you get down to it choice is not what life's all about but rather strength: More choices mean less strength. Remember, King Solomon said, "Do not set your heart on your wealth, nor say, 'I have enough'." (Sirach 5:1) The goal of Man is not to be philosophers of limited wealth but hopefully to be theologians of unlimited wealth. Don't ever give up on wealth. This is really good news for us, I think.
