TMSR's big annoucement!!

One thing I noticed ... from the TMSR press announcement. Frank (I think it was him--anyway, someone) referenced "WeCanTalkFree 3.0."

There was no further comment on what that might be, but it conceivably might mean they're moving their business model, such as it is, to a free one (since their competition is all free).

This is obviously conjecture based on the name, but if it turns out they are moving to a free model, that will totally kill any retail product remaining in the channel, meaning everything not already sold will return quickly, leading to really ugly revenue figures... the other thing is that it casts doubt on what kind of money they can get from OEM's, as OEM's generally don't pay a lot of money to include stuff that is free. So if TMSR's products move to FreeWare, I can't imagine OEM relationships bringing in much money at all.

To repeat, all the above is conjecture based on nothing but the new name (and the company's history of lameness), so FWIW,
