On our way to Baltimore this summer, we pasted a battlefield, the children really wanted to go. I had thought maybe on the way home we could stop there, but it just got to the point that we were out of energy. Or should I say, I was out of energy. Which battlefield is it that you drive through??? (if you don't want to post, you could tell me in a PM) I have not watched the series in a while. My oldest 2 children would probably really like it now. Other than the battlefield on the way to Baltimore, we had a rather historically oriented summer. Mainly Lincolns birth place in Kentucky and then sites in Illinois. I really enjoyed seeing the various historic sites as well as the children did. As I posted last night I am going to read a book with my daughter, that is based on the diary of a girl who lived during the Civil War era. #reply-11380094
