I think a longer term perspective on these markets is healthier in the long run..... this was a correction in a bull market... Yes, I did say 'was' and it's over today... we had a successful re-test of the lows and closed nicely at the 200 moving average in the DOW.... I think tomorrow we'll see an inside day with a lower close, and then a strong recovery rally into the FOMC meeting on the 5th of October.....BWDIK BTW, yes, I know that feeling you describe all too well.....<g>

My Best Regards.

GZ

Wanmore,

Well, up until maybe today (won't download for another 15 minutes) I had no clear buy signal so I am not in... I was trying to get the DJVJDs today at 1/8th and somebody got them at that price but it wasn't me. I cancelled my order when the option kept INCREASING in price as the DOW went to below 130.

I may be crazy but I ain't stupid. Well sometimes I am stupid. And maybe today I was stupid. But when something looks nurtz, I book.

Bill

Never chatted, but came across your post.

Yes the shorts are getting squeezed bigtime right now. I have lost out a few times and the best ones I just took it right when I got a solid win even though I though more breakdown was in order ( those were EBAY and DCLK) YHOO has been shakin and rattlin right now.

But here's my guess, like gold stocks a few weeks back, they were held in a range as the chart looked more positive the volume trade kicked it down; I think the internets are in the same boat, maybe held here a bit and then a blow off top. Big boys lay a negative call on them in a month or less and they tank.

Short now maybe you hang on, more likely throw in the towel.

After my defeats, I look for it.
