OT OT freeus, you must learn patience. your quick clicking to both short and sell is costing you money. Remember buying LCOS right at the high (so did I) I, too panicked and sold some AOL when I needn't have.
One technique I have tried in the bear market just now about to end (I hope)is to put in my sell orders in the evening,--THIS MAKES ME THINK I HAVE TAKEN DECISIVE ACTION TO END MY WORRIES AND MISERIES--BUT THEN I sleep on it, and then, if there is any ray of economic or stock good news in the morning, i call Fidelilty and cancel all or most of the orders before the maket opens. This has saved me from panicky sales many times. I have also cancelled buy orders, when I concluded I was chasing a stock, after sleeping on it.
One order in retrospect I wish I hadn't cancelled: sell 900 Dell at 95 on Feb. 16. (just before earnings)
I have hung onto most of my AOL, ave. cost 132 and bought back a small amount at 89.
good luck and slow down. be calmer.
Check out RIMM, you will love its product called Blackberry. Check out ADBE if it goes into the 90s. Read all you can on these threads. These are two new enthusiasms of mine.
