They have the market, and I think it will be a tall order to take it away from them.

Giving away internet access free, with out some offsetting revenue, is like saying we are selling below cost but making up for it with increased volume!

Microsoft has already backed off on undercutting AOL on price.

Of course, that advent of broadband rapid internet access could change the rules of the ballgame. But so far instant access still has a cost associated with it.

Not sure, however, how soon AOL stock price might return to its all time high............
