Read my message again (#858). I list there two reasons why the combined operation will have larger profits than AC or CA combined.

Most people think that combining these two companies, you will create another mess that will take years to straighten out.

Not correct. In fact most people here who oppose the merger do it because they consider the valuation for AC low, and several of them have expressed their willingness to accept the merger if $16 per share was offered.
