Thanks for the info. I would love to write puts. AB Watley will not allow it (even with the cash sitting in the account!). I think it is too complicated for them. Covered calls, long calls and puts. That's it. No ratio spreads even (short calls/stock and long calls). Matt

I was actually looking to buy some stock and calls on "slams" as you so eloquently put it <g>. I also thought that option activity might give me a candidate for my stock watch list. Generally by the time everyone has bought the calls (for example) the option price is too high to go long calls. But I thought that the stock might be getting ready to move.
