Phil;

Take this as an opp to buy more stock, not to worry :') TA is an important indicator. However, it is outweighed by about one order of magnitude by fundamentals. The fundamentals are in place and firmly in our favor.

Best Regards,
John Stewart

Phil,

If a statement from Bronson whose company has more than 1/2 the US semi equipment sales and about 25% to 35% of the World semi equipment sales won't allay your concerns, why would you expect a statement from a small fry like McDonald would help.

AMAT's largest order received during the last quarter is more than 5 times MTSN's annual revenues for the last completed fiscal year. MTSN cannot hold the hand of every investor that ever bought or wanted to buy 100 shares. It just isn't economically viable for a microcap to staff up to that level.

It is not Brian McDonald's job or Brad Mattson's to assuage my concerns every time the stock drops; nor do I expect them to congratulate me on my superb judgement every time the stock goes up.

In fact, if either of them wasted their effort looking after me or any other individual investor on an individual basis, I would be sorely disappointed in their taking their eye off the ball.

Further, the USA is the most litigious country on the face of the earth and probably the entire Universe. AMAT can recover from a few unexpected cancellations or pushouts. Any statement that MTSN could make would need so many ifs, buts and maybes to make it absolutely useless for the desired purpose.

If the lack of a personal servant in the IR department offends you, sell. Buy AMAT. You'll beat the market by a wide margin; you just won't do as well as if you held MTSN and recognized that they don't have the same IR organization as most S&P 500 companies.

When they do, I'll probably already have sold. :-)
