Matthew, yes we have been in a bear market for 19 months, some stocks topped out in 97 like the drillers and the disk drive makers. The final capitulation is when the nifties give up the ghost, just like last year at the bottom, you won't see a bottom till you see some panic selling in softie, csco et, al timely.com the ndx looks like it may be creating a triangle at the base of the balmer black, if this is the case i believe it will resolve bearishly and the techies will give up the ghost in the final capitulation. There hasn't been one yet, you'll read about it on the front page of your daily. Thats when you should be buying with both hands. bb
