Here's what happened to the other two Royal Oak mines:

Kinross became the dominant gold company in the Timmins area in Northern Ontario after it agreed last week to pay $5 million US to buy two shut down mines of bankrupt Royal Oak Mines.

The company wants to restart an exploration program on the former Royal Oak property, but has made no commitment to reopening the Pamour and Nighthawk mines that were shut down last month, throwing at least 250 people out of work.
