Interesting that you say that. I too treasure my entire library, and wouldn't even think of selling or otherwise parting with any of my books, and I am not just speaking of trading books. I have every book I have read since I was in high school, and I am a voracious reader. It only creates problems when having to crate and uncrate them for moving, etc.

I can't tell you how many times over the years that I have remembered or partially remembered some passage or factoid from years before, and knew just which book to go to to confirm it, or share it with someone. It is really a great feeling to then zero in and find just what you thought you had remembered. Not to get nostalgic, but I am often taken back to where and when I happened to be reading that book. It's kinda neat, actually.<g>
