Gary I think you and this fellow from CNBC are using the same software. Another prediction of DOW 9000.

We haven't seen many earnings warnings for Q3. On the contrary I've heard earnings will be good overall not just for oils. Usually we don't get a big correction during earnings season unless earnings are going to be really bad. It's hard to call the overall market here, but some of these big caps E&P's and OSX issues are looking juicy here...

Big Bull, I just learned something interesting that should make your small cap E&P's more valuable. Crude buyers here in the Permian, and San Juan Basins are as of today paying a premium of up to $2.00/bbl on sweet crudes bought at the wellhead. Yup that's right- up to $2/bbl price higher than the official posted prices.....

You probably also saw that Conoco stated this morning that 3d quarter profits will be better than anticipated...
