i will never capitulate though. just like i never capitulated on gold.... so i am rather useless as a contrarian indicator. i'll be shorting this POS at 9k or 20k, doesn't matter to me. i won't get bullish till i see 5 or 7% dividends on the s&p and business news stops getting reported on the nightly news... by then it will only be the price of gold and interest rates -g-

my only thing w/ GZ is that he has been a very successful black box trade throughout the bull... if this is no longer a bull and the rules have changed, he must get f*cked.. simple as that. he's just an indicator of the environment actually changing, if indeed it has.

GZ also made a bold prediction of a bear market two years ago -- said that it "was all over" -- everybody remembers the good trades -- he also shorted crude and had to reverse himself

don't get me wrong, but he is a trader looking at trends in the few week to a few months -- fine for what he does -- let's see how he does when (or if, if you prefer) a bear market ensues -- he will go short somewhere in the low 9,000's probably after the decline has begin in earnest ...
