That's a sobering post, BP. What have your returns been this year?

I find it hard to believe we're in a precariously high market when 6 out of 10 nyse stocks have lost value ytd. Of course, my returns are obscene, but that's based on a few exceptional stocks.

"Immediately after arriving in New York, I began to sell everything I could, in anticipation of the break I now felt to be imminent. This was near the end of September. The condition of the market could be measured by its wild fluctuations, followed by assurances from every direction that all was well. But I had heard this lullaby before. I knew that the continuity of confidence was beginning to break."

Bridge Player, so what did he do near the end of October?

p.s. you may want to save this for next year late September as I'm sure it will once again be applicable.
