Drip, drip, drip, drip...

The sound of the weekly shrinking of crude inventory. DECREASED SUPPLY. Rebounding worldwide DEMAND. These are the basics - a good place to focus. Natural gas for many new big homes and bigger shopping centers, and bigger still power plants.

The market was overblown. With global recovery, a lot of $ have left. With 20% earnings increases expected for 3rd quarter, IMHO the market will not go much lower.

The oil stocks were also overextended. And technically they look terrible. BUT the fundamentals haven't changed much - drip, drip, drip...

Well respected Dain Rauscher oil analyst and Ralph A., I respectfully disagree. We shall see. I'm buying APA, RIG, NBR, and a touch of KEG. Good luck and sleep well to all. ;-)man

Gary, can you elaborate on the Dain Rauscher analyst comments. Are they available for inspection somewhere on the web.

Also, what does your practiced eye tell you about the big EnP's like BR, APA, APC. I'm going ahead with entries on some of these. I just can't believe they are going to test the lows they last visited at $11/barrel oil. That would defy every iota of common sense available, even to those so dim-witted as to be at the helm of institutional funds.

TIA,

++good

Gary B - re: Dain Raucher comments ????

What did they say - re:

<< Dain Rauscher put out what might be characterized as a Begin to Soon Start Selling tag on the oil service sector today fwiw >>

Unlike Merill, SSB, Paine Webber etc - Dain does not have that type of retail investor customer base; I'd view their negative horn blowing as an attempt in allowing the Institution's & Fund Mgr's back in cheap here...

The other Broker's are pounding the table here... gotta agree.
