By AOL Chatters

9/28/99 7:38 PM ET

James Cramer chatted on AOL Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. EDT. As with all chats, this transcript is unedited.

Question: What is your outlook on gold?

TSCNYjjc: I think that gold is overpriced. I would sell gold and gold stocks as I think they were up on a short squeeze.

<< suppose the FED puts out a additional printing of x dollars to cover any accounts that drawn due to concern with y2k issues, >>

Wouldn't the Fed put out dollars only if bank runs occur? A run on the banks would be deflationary, wouldn't it?

If massive bank runs occur, I don't think the Fed can print up money fast enough.
