Robert Gudenau: What do I think about Michigan? I think about Michigan a lot. It's always uppermost in my mind, right behind bagels and my weekly session with Doc Kronkite. A great state Michigan. If I ever move, my next move will surely be Michigan.Better you should focus on Boston...and the Red Sox. There's something special about this team. I know, I know...they always break our hearts. But as I tell my dad every year, "Dad, this could be the year." And so I say to you Robert "This is the year." Get on 'em boobeleh. They're gonna be underdogs, but with
Pedro & Ramon Martinez and Bret Saberghagen and Tim Wakefield and a solid bullpen plus Nomar Garciaparra and an outfield that can run 'em down...they can play with any team. They took the Yankees and Indians handily over the course of this season. In playoff-ball, a team will go as far as it's pitching takes it; the Sox have the pitching. Pedro will pitch 2 games of the 5-game series with the Indians. The Sox are a team reminiscent of a stock that's coming off a bottom with gap after gap. You gotta buy it and go with the probabilities. (Lee)
