"high valuation??" maybe you're right. i'll buy some Phone.com (PHCM), it has $ 13 million in annual revenues and a $ 7 BILLION market cap. the delinquents at CS First Boston were pounding the table for it, "screaming buy! dirt cheap!" they said. Phone.com created a nice little operating system for phones and wireless devices, you know? an arena Microsoft will NEVER enter, oh no. on the other hand, i wonder where all the buy orders for FDRY and ATON and for all these new exotic tulips were coming from. probably Paine Webber clients paying full commission and planning to hold FDRY and ATON forever.
